Profe Rachel
Señora B loves the Spanish language and culture. She has been teaching Spanish for 17 years. She has taught pre-K through adults and is so excited to be working with a new group of students this year! Her students enjoy learning through interactive games, natural conversation, movement, and lots of visual support. She loves seeing her students gain a command for Spanish and growing in their love of language and culture. She is eager to see what she and her students will accomplish in class together!
She has a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from McDaniel College. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish with a Minor in Education from Gettysbury College. She taught in public high school for 17 years and has been a private online tutor for the last 3 years. She traveled to Spain which sparked her interest in pursuing the language. She loved working in a high school and even took her students to Eduador, the Galapagos Islands, Puerto Rico, and Spain. She decided to leave the classroom and have more flexibility as a mom of (almost) 6!
